A Word from Pastor Jo (Week of March 7, 2016)

ENTER DOUBT, EXIT FAITH. Saints, the Word tells us in Matthew 14:29-30 (NLT) that Peter got out of the boat and walked on water towards Jesus. But when Peter saw the strong wind and waves he was terrified and began to sink. “Save me, Lord”, he said. Jesus IMMEDIATELY reached out and grabbed him. “You have so little faith”, Jesus said. “Why did you doubt?” Peter began to sink because of his Fear. This Fear was able to come upon Peter because he took his attention off of Jesus and put it on his situation. Does that sound familiar? Saints, Fear and Doubt cannot just over come you. You have to let it in. Like Peter we sometimes let Satan cause us to take our attention off of Jesus and onto our circumstances and back into carnal thinking. If you feel like you are DROWNING today and you are feeling weak in faith, turn your attention back to Jesus as Peter did and He will SAVE you too. “NO PROBLEM IS TO BIG FOR OUR GOD.” AMEN.
