In Mark 6:31, Jesus said to His disciples, “Let’s go to a place where we can be alone to rest for a while. “Many people were coming and going, and Jesus and the apostles didn’t even have a chance to eat. Jesus often separated Himself from others so He could spend time with the Father. Many of God’s soldiers have neglected the needs of their physical bodies and have therefore ended up in an early death or severe illness. One of Satan’s deadliest weapons against God’s elect, especially His ministers is busy-ness. Saints, if the devil can’t stop you from GETTING ON FIRE for God. Then he will try to stop you by getting you BURNED OUT. I know we all lead busy lives and sometimes it’s hard to take a much needed REST. However, as I am so often reminded we can’t feed others if we aren’t fed ourselves. Psalm 46:10: “BE STILL, AND KNOW THAT I AM GOD.” and verse 11: THE LORD OF ARMIES IS WITH US. THE GOD OF JACOB IS OUR STRONGHOLD. SELAH. AMEN.
