Dear Friend,
In my personal life, my words brought me from one place to another. I didn’t do it over night, but as I read and spoke God’s Word, the changes I needed came to my thoughts, words, and decisions.
Your personal faith comes from the Word of God. If you’re not getting God’s Word by listening to teaching or reading it in your own private time, then you will deal with doubt and negativity. Negativity will trouble you.
Whoever guards his mouth and tongue
keeps his soul from troubles.
Psalm 21:23 (NKJV)
The word troubles means, anxieties. Don’t spend your day speaking about your worries. Refuse to give meditation to negative thinking about people, circumstances, or anxious thoughts. In truth, worry is a lack of confidence in God’s protection and provision. How can you combat such thoughts? Speak the Word of God.
For example, if your finances are going sideways and you are having difficulty making bills this month, don’t allow thoughts of worry to fester in your mind. Consider that God’s Word says that He will provide—and repeat that verse out loud!
And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:19 (NKJV)
The young lions lack and suffer hunger;
But those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing.
Psalm 34:10 (NKJV)
Glory to God!
