Dear Friend,

You are precious and valuable to God. Do you know that your Creator knit you together in your mother’s womb? King David writes the following:

For You formed my inward parts;
You covered me in my mother’s womb.
I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Marvelous are Your works,
And that my soul knows very well.
My frame was not hidden from You,
When I was made in secret,
And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed.
Psalm 139:13-16a (NKJV)

Praise God, the Creator of new life! God created you and knit you together, covered you there in your mother’s womb. I’ve learned that the devil is mean and he doesn’t play fair. He targets babies, children, and young people to hurt them in any way possible. Our schools and colleges are educating our youth against the ways of the Lord. Video games and movies teach deception, death culture, and lies. Worse, babies are targeted through abortion in our land.

You know, Satan targeted babies in the Bible, too. Think about it. When God sent Jesus into the world to be born of the virgin, Mary, King Herod ordered the brutal killing of baby boys ages two and under. God warned Joseph in a dream to get up and flee Bethlehem and go to Egypt. Joseph obeyed God that very night.

In the Old Testament, God chose Moses to be the deliverer of His people, Israel. What happened? During the time when Moses was born, the Pharaoh commanded his soldiers to kill all male babies born in the land. What’s more, the Pharaoh ordered the Hebrew midwives to kill all baby boys at birth. How wicked! But the midwives did not listen to the Pharaoh. What did God think about those midwives who saved the lives of the infants?

So God was good to the midwives and the Israelites continued to multiply, growing more and more powerful.

My friend, when we listen to God instead of the devil, we, too, will grow more and more powerful as the body of Christ.
