 Dear Friend,

There's nothing in this world more important than the Word of God.  According to the Bible, everything in this world is going to pass away except His Word, because God’s power is in His Word. The Bible clearly states that even when your enemy comes at you one way, your Father will scatter the enemy from you in seven ways.

The Lord will conquer your enemies when they attack you.  They will attack you from one direction, but they will scatter from you in seven.
Deuteronomy 28:7 (NLT)

This is one of the verses I used to quote a lot, especially when it didn't look like anything was going my way and they were threatening to foreclose on my home and take everything I had.  Most of it they did take, but I decided to keep on keeping on and keep speaking the Word of God. You see, when God blesses you, no one can curse you.

Yes, quite a few times it looked like I was going down for the count, but I'm so thankful that I've got the Word of God engrafted into me.  I say that a lot when I talk to God.  I say, "Lord, I just thank you that your word is engrafted into every part of me.  And that you live in me."

I want to encourage you this week to read the Word, listen to the Word, and speak the Word. Soon the Word of God will become engrafted into you and, remember, when God’s Word blesses you, no one can curse you!

Hallelujah!
