Dear Friend,

Jesus can leave you speechless! I was a widow for about a month and I received a hospital bill for almost $100,000. Daily I received hospital bills shortly after my husband passed.  In fact, my breakfast table was running over with bills. I prayed over them, but there were no immediate results. 

It was during this time that a friend came to me and she needed a loan. You know, there are times that the Lord will set you up and test you. It’s all about being obedient. I felt God wanted me to loan her the money, so I did. 

That Sunday, the Lord told me to go back and pray over those medical bills again.  I’d prayed over them already, but this time he gave me scripture to pray, the story of the widow’s oil. She had one jar of oil left to her name. When Elisha told her to borrow a lot of empty flasks from her neighbors, she did.  He instructed her to pour her one jar of oil into all of the empty flasks her neighbors loaned her.  Here’s what happened:

Now it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said to her son, “Bring me another vessel.”
And he said to her, “There is not another vessel.” So the oil ceased. 
7 Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, “Go, sell the oil and pay your debt; and you and your sons live on the rest.”
2 Kings 4:6,7 (NKJV)

I laid hands on those bills and prayed again. I wrote down what God impressed me to write.  He told me to call my friend and tell her that her debt was cancelled.  She owed me nothing!  At His Word, I did it!

On Monday, the mailman delivered what looked like another bill.  It wasn’t.  The letter declared that the bill for nearly $100,000 was reduced to a little more than $200!

Are you facing a problem that is just too large for you to solve? Seek the Lord and His Word.  Jesus can leave you speechless!
