Dear Friend,
Are you facing any fears or anxiety in your life today? Let me tell you about our wonderful Shepherd, the Lord God! Most of us are familiar with the phrase, “The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want,” taken from Psalm 23:1 in the King James Bible. Let’s look at the first two verses of Psalm 23 taken from the Voice translation.
The eternal is my shepherd. He cares for me always. He provides me rest in rich green fields beside streams of refreshing water. He soothes my fears.
Your Good Shepherd is here to care for you. Calm yourself in His arms and snuggle—don’t struggle. He will refresh you by restoring and strengthening you.
He will nourish you spiritually and emotionally and put your mind at ease as you rest peacefully in His arms.
The next time the devil tempts you to think anxious fearful thoughts, see yourself in the arms of your Lord and say, “I will fear no evil. The LORD is MY Shepherd!”
Praise the Lord!
