Dear Friend,

God loves you and desires to bless you.  He blesses us so that we can bless others.  I hope this week you will take time to encourage your pastor, teacher, or mentor and lift him or her up before the Lord in prayer.  It’s important that we support those who serve the body of Christ and offer them help in any way we can.

We need to remember those who first told us about the Lord and pray for them.  If they’ve moved to heaven and are now with the Lord, then thank the Lord for them and bless their family or ministry. If God has blessed you with extra time, then use that time to give of your resources the family of God. We need to stick together and encourage each other so that we will not turn away from the faith. 

Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons,
2 speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron.
1 Timothy 4:1,2 (NKJV)

I praise God for the body of Christ and for giving us leaders and mentors to encourage us in these last days!

And we urge you, brethren, to recognize those who labor among you, and are over you in the Lord and admonish you,
and to esteem them very highly in love for their work’s sake. Be at peace among yourselves.
1 Thessalonians 5:12,13 (NKJV)

May God’s peace and love rest upon you and your Christian leaders this week!
