Dear Friend,

I want to encourage you this week to believe God to lead you, keep you, and never let you go. If the Lord Jesus is your Savior and Shepherd, then you can trust Him to take care of you.

He will feed His flock like a shepherd;
He will gather the lambs with His arm,
And carry them in His bosom,
And gently lead those who are with young.
Isaiah 40:11 (NKJV)

Fear of the future is running rampant in our society. That spirit of fear gets stronger when people feed it. One way to put fear on the run is to worship and praise the Lord. 2 Chronicles 20:9 says that when an army came against Jehoshaphat, he worshiped the Lord and the children of God, “stood up to praise the Lord God of Israel with voices loud and high.” What a way to win a war!

When fighting a war, we need to know something about the enemy we are fighting against. In Genesis, Satan was a snake. In Revelation, Satan is a dragon. From Genesis to Revelation the snake grows into a dragon, but we can chop off the head of that serpent, no matter how large.

You are of God, little children, and have overcome them,
because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.
1 John 4:4 (NKJV)

Are you ready to follow our Shepherd, even if He leads us into a war against His enemy, Satan?  Will you trust God to carry you, and praise Him with your voice loud and high? 

Greater is He who is in us, and He who leads us, than he that is in this world.
