A Word from Pastor Jo (Week of January 9, 2017)

Saints, have you ever felt like that the Lord has forgotten all about you and your situation? Sometimes, I have felt that way. However, we know that God could never forget us. It makes me think about Mephibosheth the son of Jonathan, David’s friend. One day out of nowhere David asked, “Is anyone in Saul’s family still alive… anyone that I can show kindness to for Jonathan’s sake?” The servant told David about Mephibosheth and how he was in this place called Lo Debar (Lo Debar means “No Thing” or “Nothing”). We all know what happened. David restored back to him all the land that belonged to Saul and Mephibosheth ate continually at the king’s table. Victory comes when we stop looking to other things for the solution and start looking to God. The Lord said His eyes run to and fro looking to give support to those whose hearts are blameless toward Him. Amen.
