Prayer for 'You Get What You Say'
Father, I pray that You will give us the wisdom and grace to devote ourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. I pray that You will open to us a door for the Word so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ.
We pray also that when we open our mouths, divine utterance may be given to us so that we will boldly make known the mystery of the gospel - the mystery that was hidden for ages and generations but is now revealed to His saints.
Father, I pray that we will recognize that we truly “can get what we say”. You said Lord, that You would give us words and wisdom that none of our enemies will be able to oppose or prove wrong.
Help us to only give utterance to Your Word, recognizing that Your Word possesses amazing power - more powerful than a two edged sword, and will have the effects of an atomic bomb when spoken over any situation. Hallelujah!
You said Lord, that the Holy Spirit will teach us what we should say. Help us not to be babe’s that need to be fed milk, but to be like new born babies and crave pure spiritual milk - the pure Word of God. In Jesus' name, Amen.
