Dear Friend,

God did not leave us on earth as orphans. After Jesus ascended into heaven, He sent God the Holy Spirit down to earth to fill the children of God and baptize them with His life and power. Hallelujah!

One of the warnings that the Lord gives us is to beware of the devil’s schemes to try to take us out. The devil will try his best to “unplug” all that life and power that the Holy Spirit has brought into our lives. God’s Word tell us to beware of the devil’s schemes:

Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.
2 Corinthians 2:11 (KJV)

Here are a few of the devices the devil will use to “push your buttons” and try to take you out:

1. Depress you in your thoughts and feelings
2. Push burdens on you that are hard to bear
3. Financial difficulty
4. Sickness
5. Distract you with something you don’t really need
6. Get you to FOCUS on the wrong thing
7. Get you to VALUE the wrong thing

Has the devil been trying to push your buttons lately? Fight back with the Word of God and speak these scriptures out loud:

You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.
1 John 4:4 (NKJV)

Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
Romans 8:37 (NKJV)

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
Romans 8:28 (NKJV)

Praise God, the victory is ours!
