Dear Friend,
We need to honor God’s Word. In fact, the Lord has shown me not to act on the doctor’s word. I’m not to act on the banker’s word. We are to respect the doctor and the banker, but act on God’s Word. It’s God’s Word that will help us.
I’ve made bad decisions. I’ve had to repent with a contrite and humble heart for rushing into things and making snap decisions when I should have waited on God and asked Him for wisdom. Christians mess up sometimes. If we make a mess of things, God promises that He will forgive us if we have a humble, sincere heart.
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
1 John 1:9 (NKJV)
We all mess up. We fall. We say things we later regret. When that happens, tell God what you did and ask Him to clean you up. He will do it! Then forgive yourself. God doesn’t require that we feel guilty or condemned and wallow around in the mess we made. No! His forgiveness is real and immediate.
He who believes in Him is not condemned.
John 3:17 (NKJV)
Today is a new day. Walk in the assurance that God always forgives the child who confesses his or her sin! God is love.
Hallelujah!
