Dear Friend,
 
Are there troubles, trials, or temptations on your mind today? Remember, child of God, you can cry out to God your Father and He will deliver you!
 
"This man cried out, and the Lord heard him and saved him out of all of his troubles." Psalm 34:6 (NKJV).
 
The Lord God hears our cries when we are in trouble. Oftentimes He sends angels to help us.
 
"The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him, and rescues them." Psalm 34:7 (NKJV).
 
One night my sisters and I traveled out of state for my granddaughter’s baptism. We got lost and stranded in an unfamiliar area. We had no GPS and I needed directions to get back on the interstate. I stopped and prayed. When I lifted my head, I saw a man outside my window. My sisters didn’t want me to put my window down, but I felt like God sent the man, so I put down my window and asked for directions.
 
The man said several times, “Please go straight—don’t stop. Don’t stop, and don’t turn around, but take a right at this particular street and it’s going to take you right back where you need to be.”
 
I proceeded, and when I looked back, the man was gone.
 
Yes, that man was likely an angel of the Lord sent to direct us on our way. God will look out for you and your family, too, as you journey through life together.
