A Word from Pastor Jo (Week of February 8, 2016)

Saints, have you ever felt like that the Lord has forgotten all about you and your situation? Sometimes, I have felt that way. However, we know that God could never forget us. It makes me think about Mephibosheth, the son Jonathan, David’s friend. One day, out of nowhere, David asked, “Is anyone in Saul’s family still alive; anyone that I can show kindness to for Jonathan’s sake?" The servant told David about Mephibosheth and how he was in this place called Lo Debar (Lo Debar meant “No thing”or “Nothing”). We all know what happened. David restored to him all the land that belonged to Saul and he ate continually at the king’s table. Victory comes when we stop looking to other things for the solution and start looking to God. The Lord said His eyes run to and fro looking to give support to those whose heart's are blameless toward Him (2 Chron 16:9).
