Dear Friend,
As we focus on Palm Sunday this week and Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem, let’s tune in to the confession of the people who met Jesus that day.
And a very great multitude spread their clothes on the road; others cut down branches from the trees and spread them on the road. Then the multitudes who went before and those who followed cried out, saying:
“Hosanna to the Son of David!
‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the LORD!’ Hosanna in the highest!”
Matthew 21:8,9 (NKJV)
The word hosanna is a cry of adoration, praise, and joy. The dictionary defines the Hebrew word hosanna to literally mean, “Pray, save us!” Do we need Jesus to save us in 2022? Oh, yes! This week, let’s cry out in praise, adoration, and joy to our Lord. “Hosanna! Pray, save us, Jesus! Save my family, my community, my nation, and my world!”
My friend, Jesus desires to enter into your life, your family, your community this week. Let’s praise Him as He comes!
Hosanna!
